Paul Kountz has earned the reputation as the "Best Catering Manager in Baltimore". Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Paul immediately found a passion for the hospitality industry. He began his 25 year long catering career managing the Brass Elephant Restaurant and building its catering division. He quickly found that he enjoyed and excelled at managing the catering aspects much more than the restaurant and wanted to focus on his specialty. Paul took an opportunity as a Director of Catering for Wickey's Caterers and his exceptional and detailed planning caught the attention of our Chef's Expressions President and Corporate Chef, Jerry Edwards CPCE.


Paul Kountz has been a vital member of the team since 2002 and has been a major influence in Chef's Expressions success.His strong leadership and hospitable nature motivates staff to produce a great event every time. He believes that the most important thing about a special event is the planning, what happens during the four or five hours of the actual event is the easy part.


He is a current member of the Washington, DC National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and the Washington, DC International Special Events Society (ISES).
