BizBash Idea Fest New York 2013

  On October 30th, 2013, four members of our team here at Chef’s Expressions took a field trip to New York City for this year’s BizBash Idea Fest at the Jacob K. Javits Center. Our goal was to scour the scene to discover the latest innovative trends in event industry. We split up into two groups to divide and conquer the scene.


Top 4 Inspired Ideas

1. Event Décor

From their colorful linen choices, to their modern styles, it was amazing to see the gorgeous ideas that these designers they came up with.

2. Event Technology:

The advancement in modern day technology has had a tremendous impact on today’s world. BizBash vendors featured a variety of new software and app’s geared towards the hospitality and event industry.

This app then allows them to upload photos directly to your events memoir album. Guests can also browse through photos of other tables[/caption] [caption id="attachment_3579" align="aligncenter" width="471"]photo 1 (4) Newest app. from Stage Write is the latest addition to our team here at Chef’s Expressions and allows us to build an entire floor plan via IPAD. While sitting in a client meeting, we can build a seating chart, adjust table sizes, add or remove tables, chairs and more![/caption]

3. Floral Designs:

There were quiet a few designers present who specialized in unique floral designs. Great creative inspiration for future events!

4. Creative Presentation:

As Chef’s Expressions prides ourselves on creativity, we truly admired all of the amazing presentation ideas that surrounded us. These vendors took their ideas above and beyond.

The day concluded with a delicious lunch at BB King followed by an awesome stroll through New York’s Time Square.
